Animatic Project — “Strange Story”
This animatic was created based on the short story “Strange Story” by O. Henry. It was developed as a university project, interpreting the narrative with subtle eerie undertones and elements of surreal storytelling, reflecting the mood of the original story.
The project was approached not merely as an academic assignment, but with an authorial perspective, carefully structuring the sequence of events so that viewers can piece together the story while maintaining narrative coherence. The aim was to engage the audience in an immersive experience, conveying the atmosphere and progression of the story visually and emotionally.
